Named after John Starkey who was one of the first families to settle in Mudgeeraba. This room offers traditional heritage features, from the double stained glass doors step out onto the wrap around Veranda to enjoy the views of the hinterland. The room offers polished timber floorboards and a historical feel with all the mod cons. There is a queen sized bed with quality bed linen ducted air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV and fridge in the room. There is a newly appointed ensuite to the room which has been designed with heritage in mind. Whilst the style has been kept in keeping with the house we the amenities are 21st century for your comfort.
This room is named after Isaac Andrews who built the house in around 1907. This is the largest of our heritage rooms. There are two sets of balcony doors offering views to the Hinterland and the village. There is a queen sized bed with quality bed linen ducted air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV and fridge in the room. This room offers its own private bathroom for use by the guests of this room only. The bathroom offers both bath and shower and has been sympathetically restored. We also offer complimentary WiFi.
This room takes its name from the Railway station that used to connect Mudgeeraba to Tweed Heads. The Railway has long since closed but the history can still be seen. This is our largest room and comprises of a Queen bed and a Single bed with a pull-out trundle. This can accommodate three adults or two adults and 2 children. The room is in the modern wing of the house but offers its own private ground floor entrance and access to the wraparound balcony, guest lounge and dining room. There is TV, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and a newly appointed ensuite with shower. WiFi is complimentary.
This B&B is an amazing place! Great old well looked building, with all the modern stuff as well. Highly recommend, great for a weekend get away. Its not too far from the highway, so easy to get around.
Thank you Liz and Rich (& Molly!) for your hospitality, really made the 3 day weekend get away an amazing trip! 🙌
A delightfully unexpected find. Thank you for your hospitality Richard & Liz, we were tired & travel weary & everything was just so perfect. Hot shower extra comfy bed & a hot cuppa, plus a hot breakfast in the morning.
Just off the highway but super quiet. Highly recommended.

"A Great Place to Stay"
A great place to stay and enjoy the local area and with Rich and Liz being such good hosts.
I would definitely recommend the breakfast and if you take a personal tour with Rich(The little picnic tour company)he will show you places off the beaten track that you would not normally see on a standard tour
Welcome to Village B&B, where comfort is everything. Beautiful heritage rooms, straightforward booking & reservation options, & a whole lot more awaits here.
